Our Solution: Using its soft coining motion, the SDE 8018 Digital Electric Servo Press helped improve part production for our client in the following demonstrable metrics:
- Its slow-speed processing created parts that were five times the thickness of those produced by the previous press.
- The die life was eight times longer, a cost-saving improvement for the client.
- The SDE 8018 also improved bending accuracy (±10µm).
