AMADA began its journey in press technology in 1965 through a technical alliance with U.S. Industries. This partnership led to the launch of the TP series and laid the foundation for our press division. While most of our presses are manufactured at the Fujinomiya Plant, nestled at the foot of Mt. Fuji, we believe that the origin of our press division carries American DNA at its core.
To truly understand this heritage, one can look no further than the Amada Museum located at our Isehara Works in Japan. Pictured is the AMADA Museum located at our headquarters in Isehara, Kanagawa. Built in the traditional style of Japanese architecture and surrounded by a serene Japanese garden, the museum is a meaningful place to understand AMADA’s founding spirit: “Growing together with our customers.” This museum serves as a living testament to our rich history, showcasing the evolution of stamping press technology and the technological advancements that Amada has pioneered over the years.
