LCE HR3 Series Coil Straightener-Feeders

The state-of-the-art LCE HR3 coil straightener-feeder features best-in-class performance, operation and setup, with push button operation to automate material threading and material loop formation. The LCE HR3 will handle a variety of material specifications including widths of 100 mm (3”) to 600 mm (23”) and thickness of 1 mm (0.039”) to 6 mm (0.236”). A double uncoiler device also reduces setup times.

1. Reduced setup times and improved workability and safety

Materials mounted on the uncoiler are automatically threaded up to the straightener’s exit side until a loop is formed, leading to shorter setup times. An auxiliary coil press comes standard to prevent coil bulging and ensure smooth threading of materials. The machine also presses the coiled material at four points around its perimeter, preventing looseness at the time of coil insertion.

2. Ease of maintenance and economic performance

The LCE HR3 coil straightener-feeder features a new mechanical system that uses air pressure instead of oil for the actuator, improving ease-of-maintenance and performance.

3. Adoption of PLC control

The LCE HR3 coil straightener-feeder includes a programmable logic controller (PLC) that offers versatility and responsiveness for changing production requirements.
